Virtual Information Session
Spend your summer learning alongside Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) nurses and caring for people with cancer.
MSK’s Clinical Assistant Program (CAP) is a paid, 10-week summer experience for nursing students entering their final year of school. The 2027 program begins May 27, 2027.
As a Clinical Assistant, you’ll:
Gain hands-on experience as part of MSK’s Magnet-recognized nursing team
Explore areas including Med/Surg, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Periop and Ambulatory Care
Learn from experienced MSK nurses invested in your development
Build your clinical skills and confidence before entering your final year of nursing school
Be considered for opportunities to continue at MSK through graduation and as a new nurse

Meet the team behind CAP and get an inside look at the student experience. We’ll share what Clinical Assistants do, where you could work, what we look for in applicants and how CAP can become the first step toward a nursing career at MSK.
